Prepaid and postpaid energy meters are two different billing and payment systems used for measuring and charging consumers for their electricity consumption. These systems have distinct characteristics and are commonly used in various parts of the world to manage energy consumption and billing. When the credit balance is exhausted, the meter automatically disconnects the supply until more credit is added. The utility provider issues RF cards to consumers, which are associated with their accounts. Card readers are handheld devices equipped with RF capabilities to read the consumption data from the meters RF card. The meter reading data, along with consumer account details, are transmitted to the utility providers system for billing. ADL100-EYZ F is single phase pre-paid meters with intro-control is used for calculating the single phase active energy. The multi-tariff meter has functions of pre-paid, load controlling and RS485 communication meet the related technical requirements of electronic power meter in the IEC62053-21, IEC62053-22 standards.
